Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I order logs over the phone?
We can only take orders from our web site. Why can’t you deliver at a specific day or time? We have many deliveries each day in different areas of East and West Sussex so delivering on a specific day or time is very difficult. We try to optimise our time on the road so that we can maintain our very competitive prices. This means ensuring we deliver to customers in the same area or route instead of traveling to different parts of Sussex to meet a certain time slot.
Can you deliver my logs to the end of my back garden?
Sorry, due to time constraints we can only deliver your logs to your boundary or driveway. Why have you stopped doing designated days for log deliveries? Delivery is free so we need to plan our deliveries logistically to maximise efficiency and minimise costs, especially with the recent increase in fuel prices.
Can I come and pick up a few logs as I only need a few?
Unfortunately, no we do not have the facilities to allow collection of any or our products.
Why do I get asked to email you when I phone?
We have 3 vehicles out all the time in different locations. Any one of our team may answer the phone so they may not be the driver assigned to your delivery.
I emailed in at 9 and I haven't had a response by 11 why is this?
As most of our team is out on the road during the day we check emails first thing in the morning, then again at lunch time and in the evening. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
I want to pay you cash but I don't want to stay in and wait for you. How can I do this?
That’s absolutely fine we wouldn’t expect you to stay in all day waiting for us. You can leave your payment in a safe place for us to collect but please let us know where you will leave it - you can do this in the notes section when you order. Please bear in mind that you leave your payment at your own risk. If at all possible, bank transfer is better.
